Being in a mall store, Breaktime would have 100's of customers each day.
There became a need to display balls:
- securely, so they wouldn't get stolen
- neatly, so they could be sold
- conveniently, so a sales person could remove them
- tightly, to maximize wall space
As the solution I designed these tubes which I had built by a local plastics shop.
Customers could touch and poke the top ball but they were unable to grab it. The tubes needed to be removed (which was easy) and turned upside down to pour the balls out.
This allowed a sales person to sell balls right out of the tubes while keeping the balls clean, new and safe. This also allowed the display of more ball sets in a smaller area.
